Maybe it's time to forget

To completely turn my back to the past

To leave the carresses

The smiles

To yesterday

Because the kiss that I longed for

The love that I hungered for

Never had they been obtained

Now the memories still keep coming

But the more they shatter my heart

But how?

If with every step

It's his hand on mine I think about

If every time I close my eyes

It's his face that fills my sight

How would my heart heal

If I'll never have his love

Because it was taken by yesterday?
