Sittin' here alone thinkin' about you

You’re not here to see

The single tear burn my cheek

At least let me listen to the sounds of the ocean

As the world we knew crumbles to nothing

You’re not here to feel

My body shake with agony

The lapping ebbs my mind

The sand irritates my skin

The wind burns my tear stained cheeks

You’re not here to know

You won’t even be thinkin' of me

Though my entire world is you

It was never the same you to me

Alone as the desperate trickle

Tear stained handkerchief

Once yours

Keep it you said

As if you never even cared at all
